Our client is an historical icon in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh with a national reputation. They are in need of a Nonprofit Marketing Specialist to support the Development Department brand building and fundraising efforts with tasks, goals and assignments which advance and cultivate the needs of nonprofit in pursuit of its mission and to assistant in communicating and building community support for that mission.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Social Media management of all Social Media Channels including strategy, content calendar development and content production to support the brand messages and promote donor engagement through analysis of the efficacy of our social media presence and reporting on results
- Other Communications Channels - support the Development team in other communications including e-newsletters, website, and direct mail appeals
- CRM Data Management - update and maintain customer relations management platform on a regular daily basis to insure the accuracy of donor data, donor reporting and research
- Events - collaborate with the team to support event management, including creating and managing event web pages, promoting events, ticketing, soliciting raffle and auction items, creating guest lists, managing check-in stations, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6 to 12 months or more of demonstrated experience performing above related duties and responsibilities, with a proven track record of excellence in organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Experience in a non-profit/social service setting is preferred, but not required
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and graphic design capabilities
- Familiarity with social media and current social media trends
- Professional computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Donor Perfect and Give Cloud or similar donor management system
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends
